The best position for your code is the lower, right hand corner. Research shows this is the area least viewed by consumers, so you are not using up valuable selling space. UPC codes need to be ordered well before the publication goes to print. Remember to order the correct size, as you can only scale down the original to 80%. Your code will change for each issue; don’t forget! When you are changing a price, this changes your UPC code, notify your distributor.
